Meet Wes

Wes Curry serves as your Circuit Court Judge for Mississippi’s 12th Judicial District, bringing over 25 years of legal and judicial experience to the bench. A former municipal and justice court judge, Wes has presided over thousands of criminal, civil, and code enforcement cases. He has also led innovative specialty courts focused on behavioral health and domestic violence, securing major grant funding to expand community impact. Before taking the bench, he was a founding partner at Curry & Curry, PLLC, representing clients in state and federal courts across Mississippi and Tennessee.

Wes is deeply committed to his community and faith. He serves as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and active member of First Presbyterian Church of Hattiesburg. He and his wife Marion are proud parents of three children. In 2024, Wes was honored with the Judge Stephen S. Goss Memorial Award for Leadership by The Council of State Governments Justice Center.
